Our power ladies Desiree and Janina excel at handling the equestrian centre and horses of the Feuerstein. It is with great empathy that the duo not only takes care of our animals but also of our horse-loving guests and visitors.
Desiree Hilber
Desiree is in charge of our equestrian centre. Since she was a little girl, she has been a real horse lover and used to visit the ponies on the neighbouring farm as often as she could. Desiree took her first riding lesson at the age of six – nothing has changed in her passion since then. The professional riding instructor is amazed by the power, speed and shy nature of horses. She knows exactly how important it is to meet these proud animals with respect in order to develop a trustful relationship. As a former show jumper, Desiree still takes part in dressage competitions but most of all she enjoys riding out in nature, which she considers as a source of pure freedom and adventure.
Janina Fleckenstein
Janina knew at a very early age that she wanted to become a riding instructor. While attending a secondary school with a focus on equine business management she acquired the Western Riding Certificate (WRC) as well as the carriage driving badge. After completing her training as a fully qualified groom she worked for 5 years at a friend’s equestrian stable. In 2022, Janina passed the riding instructor exam and joined our equestrian team. During her spare time, Janina spends every moment she gets with her beautiful horse Davina and explores the outdoors on her back.
