Wines from South Tyrol at the Feuerstein
South Tyrol, a region of great wines. The high-quality wines of local winegrowers and wineries have been leading the rankings of international wine guides for years. Although a comparatively small cultivation area, the region is home to more than 20 different grape varieties. Benefiting from the Alpine-Mediterranean climate, each one grows in its preferred terroir, stretching from the Eisacktal valley all the way along the “Alto Adige Wine Road” and up to the Vinschgau valley.
The refined wine cellar of the Feuerstein stores an exquisite selection of regional fresh and fruity white wines, full-bodied red wines as well as sparkling wines. However, the Feuerstein also offers a distinctive Chianti from Tuscany, a strong Barolo from Piedmont and the one or other rarity found in the private wine selection of host Peter Mader.
