Family ski holiday

Three family-friendly ski resorts for your family ski holiday in the Alps

Skiing fans of all ages will be in their element on a winter holiday at the Feuerstein family hotel. Snow falls thick in these northern reaches of the land, which means that you can start drawing curves on the slopes directly at the car-free nature resort. Kids learn the ABC of the slopes with trendy boards, a magic carpet and a ski course on the practice slopes, while the ski resort of Ladurns just around the corner is ideal for honing your technique. The ski school in one of the most family-friendly ski resorts in South Tyrol, enjoys an outstanding reputation. Lessons in Fichti’s’ Kinderland are just a five minute drive from the Feuerstein, and the hotel shuttle-bus offers an exceptionally practical service, transporting young skiers free of charge to the ski resort every day and picking them up again afterwards.

For adult skiers, the ski resort of Ladurns with its 15 km slopes is a winter sports gem. Wide downhills await carvers and snowboarders, friendly restaurateurs invite you to enjoy a slice of home-made strudel in the Stube parlour, and sunny mountain-hut terraces nestle into breathtaking mountain scenery. If it weren’t for the other two ski resorts in the area, you would never want to leave. The Ratschings resort and the Rosskopf resort near Sterzing are covered by the same pass and are just a 30 minute drive at the most from the Feuerstein, your family hotel which makes a ski holiday an unforgettable experience for beginners and experts alike.
