South Tyrol Mining Museum, Ridnaun

Head below ground into the old mines, which are part of the South Tyrol Mining Museum in Ridnaun/Ridanna. Some of the facilities are still intact, allowing visitors to experience the production process of 150 years ago by means of fully-functioning machines. A special feature: at this place, young and adults alike will turn into miners themselves!

Wolfsthurn castle in Mareit

The baroque Wolfsthurn Castle, overlooking the locality of Mareit/Mareta, invites you to embark on an exciting journey back in time: it is home to the South Tyrolean Museum of Hunting and Fishing and features state rooms dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries as well as museum spaces where children can discover more about alpine animals.
