On a family skiing holiday in the Dolomites, even the youngest children can head out onto the slopes: The trained ski instructors at the Ladurns ski resort take care of everything. The ski school is classed as one of the best in the area, and Ladurns as one of the most family-friendly ski resorts in South Tyrol. Ex-ski-racing world champion Patrick Staudacher learned to ski on these 15km of slopes at the Ladurns ski resort; today, one of the slopes bears his name.
But if the young daredevils of the slopes are still a bit on the young side to be a pro of the ski circuit, they can learn the ABC of skiing on a children’s ski course, including how to use the lifts and how to snowplough or curve on command. Under the professional guidance of qualified ski instructors, young skiers can get to grips with the slopes quickly and well. Experts, on the other hand, can hone their techniques on a ski course, or freestyle and curve their way down towards the valley.
Ski courses can be booked for a full day or a half day, and include lunch. After a day’s skiing, our free shuttle bus will bring children safely back to the Feuerstein. And young babies will be excellently cared for in the meantime: The supervised baby and child care service at our family resort will be keeping them entertained with an educational games programme and a tasty lunch.
