Since she was a little girl, Desiree has been a real horse lover. As often as she could, she used to visit the ponies on the neighbouring farm and spent every free minute riding, feeding and grooming the animals. At the age of six, she had her first riding lesson. And nothing has changed in her passion since then. Even today, she is amazed by the power, speed and endurance of horses, but at the same time she is also fascinated by their shy nature. She understands how important it is to meet these proud animals with respect and to develop a trustful relationship.
She spends as much time as possible with Joe, her own horse, riding out in nature, which for her represents pure freedom and adventure. In addition, after a short career in show jumping, she continues to take part in dressage competitions, achieving very good results time and again. In 2021, Desiree became a qualified riding instructor and she is now enthusiastically leading the equestrian centre of the Feuerstein.
>> For me, riding through the woods with my horse is the most beautiful experience! I am very much looking forward to witness how other people will also fall in love with these wonderful animals at the Feuerstein. <<
From childhood on, Janina was utterly fascinated by horses. She knew at a very early age that she wanted to become a riding instructor. While attending a secondary school with a focus on equine business management, she acquired the Western Riding Certificate (WRC) as well as the carriage driving badge. She finally completed her training as a fully qualified groom and subsequently worked for 5 years at a friend's equestrian stable, where she also keeps her own horse, Davina. In May 2022, Janina passed the riding instructor exam with distinction and joined our equestrian team.
During her spare time, Janina spends every moment she gets with her Davina, enjoying the outdoors on her back.
>> What fascinates me most about horses is their nature and character. You get to know and understand each other, you become close and achieve unbelievable results together. The friendship between humans and horses is beyond words. <<
