In a site of energy, where nature resonates all around and an atmosphere of warmth pervades the air, your hosts share one passion: To look after you. And they do it in the happy, carefree, sincere style so inherent to the people of this valley. Here, where mountain peaks rise up towards the sky, where Mediterranean cuisine fuses with Alpine recipes and children come home from a family walk with rosy cheeks, in a land which is home to some truly unique people. You’ll meet some of them during your mountain holiday.
As director, he is the head of the management of the Feuerstein Nature Family Resort. His many years of experience in gastronomy and his love of his profession distinguish him. Born in Sterzing, he knew early on that his heart beats for gastronomy. Over the years Werner has gained a lot of experience in the management of hotels and staff. The well-being of his guests is just as important to him as that of his employees. Together with his team Werner wants to make Feuerstein the best family hotel in Europe. Werner finds a balance to his daily work in nature. The trained hiking guide loves to undertake mountain and hiking tours with his family. Our guests also enjoy exploring the most beautiful hiking trails in the Pflerschtal valley and its surroundings with Werner.
Tina is a passionate chef. The cuisine of the South Tyrolean woman is rooted in the region but does not miss creativity and innovation. Regionality and seasonality are not only common-used phrases for the 32-year old chef. Less is more, and her focus lies on genuine quality products. The dishes simply taste better, when you know where they come from and when they have a story to tell. What is more, if the ingredients are manufactured with love and care a unique taste experience is guaranteed. Her favourite place at the Feuerstein is the kitchen. What else could it be.
Klaus was born with the passion for tourism, his parents both worked in tourism. He knew early that he wanted to down this path. The opportunity to come into contact with different people every day and to contribute to making their holidays an unforgettable experience spurs him on in his work. His two daughters have followed their father's example and are now also working in tourism. The family tradition is being continued. Life and children's laughter at the Feuerstein make the hotel the ideal working place for Klaus, father himself, too.
In his free time, he finds relaxation in the mountains, preferably climbing them on his bicycle. Oldtimers make his heart beat faster. He loves to tinker with these vehicle classics in his spare time and to explore the winding mountain roads with them.
Our long-standing childcare expert learned his skills while studying at educational college and at the Free University of Bolzano, and is a great advocate of the Maria Montessori principles. Our younger guests observe, learn and understand something new each and every day when Florian calls them to join the supervised children's time. Even if the weather is not all it could be, his sparklingly sharp mind quickly comes up with an alternative. There is always something going on in the play barn and the wood workshop (one of his favourite Feuerstein places). Florian likes to be on the go and loves music: playing football, playing the trumpet and singing in the choir always put a smile on his face.
With her feeling for the needs of our young and old guests, her expertise and great dedication, she and her team offer an unforgettable feel-good programme for the whole family. At her workplace, Nadine can be completely in touch with the powerful alpine nature. The mother of a young son runs the Mountain SPA, the place in the Pflerschtal valley where the power of our natural resources can be experienced in its most concentrated, authentic and natural form. For this, the young South Tyrolean uses certified organic cosmetics and combines them into individual spa treatments. She satisfies the needs of mothers and fathers, no matter whether energy, relaxation or a velvety skin is desired. The greatest joy in their work is satisfied and happy guests.
Margitstudied management and law in Innsbruck and worked afterwards in a consulting firm for hotels. Now she can apply the obtained skills actively in the Feuerstein to develop and optimize working processes and existing programmes. Innovation and development are necessary for the young woman from Ratschings to be competitive on the market and to be able to offer every time the best service to the guest. As the assistant of the director she is an important contact person for employees and guests.
Numbers, data, facts, finances and resources – that’s the world of Claudia. The young woman from Pflersch studied International Economics at Innsbruck and takes care of the administration of the Feuerstein. All incoming and outgoing payments are accurately monitored by Claudia. To work in her home town is a great advantage for her. The Feuerstein Nature Family Resort is an opportunity for her to face new professional challenges every day and to develop her professional skills.
Brigitta is the haven of peace as well as the creative mind of the hotel. Her kindness and warmth are reflected in the lovingly designed decorations. Brigitta is deeply connected with nature. The forest is a special place of strength for her. Here she finds not only the materials for her decorations but also life energy and creative power. Decoration with natural materials is her passion. She uses what nature provides to decorate the hotel with small and larger works of art. Her incentive is to create a cosy and warm atmosphere in the Feuerstein. Meditation is another hobby she practices in the hotel Feuerstein.
When it comes to Feuerstein technology, Alexander’s many years of experience are crucial. He ensures that electric cables and vents, elevators and taps are in perfect condition. With an attentive eye, he troubleshoots, tests and tests again: Is the water in the baby pool at the right temperature? Are all the lights working? Whatever happens, and wherever it happens, his practical skills and boundless knowledge are always needed. True to his adage "The journey is the destination," the South Tyrolean loves to dream of far-distant lands, explore the world and marvel at the beauty of the mountains on a hike.
