In keeping with a sustainable and regional gourmet philosophy, the kitchen of our family hotel in the Dolomites sources products primarily from Southtyrol. Everything that the local countryside and the season offer can be found in chef Tina Marcelli’s kitchen. Experienced in catering for gourmet guests of all ages, she and her team conjure up creative dishes using nutritious ingredients. Each day, you experience a creative, refined Alpine cuisine which has drawn its inspiration from the contrasting harmonies of our lands: South meets north, and specialities of the Italian cuisine meet age-old regional recipes handed down from generation to generation. Our cooks also look beyond local boundaries: Inspired by the big wide world, the Feuerstein cuisine is nothing short of a gourmet culinary journey.
Or, in other words: Family is everything! And to ensure that you live each day of your holidays to the full, it’s good to know: The high quality at the Feuerstein is founded on well-established principles.
Whether its fresh wild herbs, sweet forest fruits or South Tyrolean speck prepared to methods handed down through the generations. The kitchen under the leadership of Tina Marcelli focusses on regionality, and the vast majority of ingredients in our luxury-board offer are locally-sourced. Freshness, taste and creativity distinguish the gourmet dishes served at the kids’ table and in the various Stube dining rooms. Inviting places to eat which, like the fireside lounge or the hotel bar, embody the signature style of the hotel.
It counts for everybody: Holidays at the nature resort are also for relaxing. That’s why we offer services like the Feuerstein Hour for kids and - a great hit with parents - yoga with Paul. In our natural setting, where mountains and Alpine pastures embrace this site of energy, relaxing moments practically happen along the way. And more still unfolds in the Mountain Spa, where the natural resources of wood, rock, water and fire come together to shape the proceedings All of them are natural sources of energy, which work their magic every bit as much during a family sauna as they to during your wellness Time for Two in the rooftop spa garden.
At a family resort in the Alps, where marmots whistle and lambs graze on the mountain pastures or children tumble around in the hay, nature always plays along during our child care programme. Kids explore woodland and riverbeds, or discover the habitat of Flammi, our mascot. Based on the educational philosophy of Maria Montessori, children’s time is organised with meaningful content throughout the day. The painting studio also promotes children’s development, while, dad will also have the chance to play around with wood and a plane in the wood workshop.
Brushed oak, exquisite textiles, handmade furniture. The architecture combines the traditional with the new in a break with all habitual concepts, and creates a feel-good space of generous dimensions where the outside world merges with the interior, and the wildly romantic countryside is always the number one star. Mountains shimmer in the light through high glass façades, and water from the valley collects in the special energy sites. Natural wood sets the tone and the atmosphere, and wraps your family time in soothing warmth and security, while stylish features accentuate the luxurious design.
South of the Brenner pass, where the valley starts to narrow and the peaks get higher, the water rushes out of the rocks and the ski-tourers search for some peace in the winter wilderness, a family holiday unfolds into a nature holiday. Whatever you opt to do in this idyllic setting with your family, or want to enjoy hiking or mountain-biking in your summer holidays, the natural energy of this powerful location will pulsate in harmony with you, filling your every sense.
