Did you know that the play barn is inspired by the traditional stables of the past?

On a farm, the ground floor of a stable was home to the animals - in other words, it was the place where hard work took place every day. At the Feuerstein, this level houses the Fitness Lounge, which also involves physical activity and effort. Above it, there was the hay barn, just as today at the Feuerstein, where children can jump and play in the hay. And exactly as on traditional farms, a workshop is located above the hay barn.

The architecture also mirrors that of a traditional farm. The solid stone masonry of the ground floor ensures stability, while the wooden structures of the upper floors create a relaxed, grounded and welcoming atmosphere.

Take a moment to observe the landscape as you explore the Pflerschtal valley or the other pristine vales in our region – you’ll certainly notice the similarities between our play barn and the typical South Tyrolean farmsteads.
