For our little guests, the Christmas season becomes a true adventure. In the Kids Club, cookies are baked together, laughter fills the room, and treats are enjoyed. While crafting Christmas decorations, small works of art are created, proudly presented, and remembered long after these days. It’s not about perfection here, but about joy, creativity and doing things together.
On selected evenings, a torch-lit walk leads through the snowy landscape of the Pflerschtal Valley around the Feuerstein. Clear air and silence shape this stroll. At the end, hot mulled wine and tea await. The calm of the evening carries through the night and lets the anticipation of Christmas grow.
Christmas Eve at the Feuerstein is filled with gentle excitement. On 24 December, Santa Claus visits the Feuerstein. It is a special evening for the whole family, creating closeness and connection.
Christmas Day is all about enjoying time together. During the festive Christmas gala dinner on 25 December, family, culinary delights and a celebratory atmosphere come together. It is an evening that leaves room for conversation and celebrates Christmas in a relaxed way.
The turn of the year is also consciously shaped at the Feuerstein. The New Year’s Eve dinner, accompanied by a special programme, invites guests to end the year together. On New Year’s Day, the morning begins slowly. With an extended breakfast served until midday, the new year starts calmly, deliciously and without haste.
A special highlight this year is the Christmas Wish Tree. Every family may write their Christmas or New Year’s wish on a heart and hang it on the tree. During the Rauhnächte, that special time between the years, these wishes rest at the Feuerstein. On the last of the Rauhnächte, they are burned in the fire bowl to release them and entrust them to the new year. The first wish was hung by our owner and host, Peter Mader. His Christmas wish is for less haste – for himself and for everyone who visits Feuerstein. And the quiet hope that Feuerstein has become a place where slowing down can truly happen.
