There is always a hustle and bustle in Feuerstein. Meanwhile, 150 employees belong to the Feuerstein Family Team and take care of the guests' well-being every day and this has top priority.
"A company is always as good as its employees, no matter how extraordinary the hardware may be", says owner and host Peter Mader. They are the calling card of the house. The teams have to work together perfectly and be coordinated with each other. Only in this way the highest quality can be offered. Each person is responsible in his or her area for ensuring that the big picture works.
The Feuerstein teams
Angelika and her housekeeping team make the rooms a second home for our guests. Florian and his child carers look after each child so lovingly that some of them don't even want to leave: from babies to teenagers – the kids are all enthusiastic about the varied activities inspired by the philosophy of Maria Montessori. Nadine and the Mountain Spa staff ensure well-being and relaxation in the spa area. Janina and her team are the first contact persons at the reception. They are always happy to help you with the room reservation, daily information and general questions. Klaus and his team ensure the highest level of service at the table and together with sommelier Marco they serve the right wines for every dish. Tina and her kitchen brigade are responsible for true culinary delights. Every day, they create delicious masterpieces on the plates and spoil our guests with culinary highlights from morning to night. The two horse whisperers Desiree and Janina are responsible for the riding centre and give riding lessons for young and old horse fans. Our technician Alex and his team make sure that the electrical lines, the ventilation shafts, the lifts, taps and much more are all in perfect condition, that the suitcases are in the right room and that all guests are taken to the train station or airport on time. With great love for detail, Brigitta embellishes the house with her decorations made of natural materials. Mostly invisible to our guests, the personnel, administration and marketing office work in the background. And finally, director Werner, who has been in charge of the Feuerstein since October 2019, and deputy director Walter keep a watchful eye on the big picture.
Together with Peter Mader and his wife Sarah, we are pursuing the goal of becoming the best family hotel in Europe. We make this vision a little more reality every day by trying not only to fulfil our guests' expectations, but to exceed them and surprise them with new wow moments!
